Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data Mr Audience (operated by 4AM TECH IO PRIVATE LIMITED) collects, why, who we share it with and your rights. It is written to comply with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000 and its rules.

1. Data we collect

  • Account data from Google sign-in: your name, email address and profile photo.
  • GitHub data when you connect GitHub: your GitHub username, profile photo and an access token. The token is stored encrypted (AES-256) and used only to create and update your project repositories.
  • Project data: your briefs, the files you upload (brief documents, logos, reference images, files sent in chat), chat messages, answers to questions, change requests, ratings and feedback, and the code we generate. Uploaded files are visible only to you and our team, and are shared with the AI only to build your project.
  • Payment data: the plan you bought, amount, date and Razorpay order/payment IDs. Card, UPI and bank details are handled by Razorpay and never reach our servers.
  • Technical data: IP address and basic request logs for security, abuse prevention and rate limiting.
  • Communications: emails you send us and notifications we send you.

2. Why we use it

  • To create your account, build and deliver your projects, and show their status.
  • To email you about your projects (questions, completion) and payments. You can turn project emails off in Account settings; important account or legal notices may still be sent.
  • To process payments, refunds and keep accounting records required by law.
  • To keep the Service secure, prevent abuse and fix problems.

We process your data on the basis of your consent (given when you sign up) and to perform the Service you requested. We do not sell your personal data and we do not use it for advertising.

3. Who we share it with

Only with service providers that help us run the Service, and only what they need:

  • Google / Firebase: sign-in.
  • GitHub: repositories, code and previews in your account.
  • AI providers (Anthropic, OpenAI): your brief, answers and repository contents are sent to their models to generate the code. Do not put passwords or sensitive personal data in your brief.
  • Razorpay: payments and refunds.
  • Our email provider: sending notification emails.
  • Our hosting provider: servers that run the Service.

Some of these providers process data outside India. We may also disclose data when required by law or to protect our rights and users.

4. Cookies

We use one essential cookie to keep you signed in, and a short-lived cookie during GitHub connection for security. Google sign-in may briefly store data in your browser while you sign in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

5. How long we keep it

We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account (Account settings → Delete account), we delete your account, projects and notifications from our database. Payment records may be kept for the period required by tax and accounting laws. Code in your GitHub repositories is in your control and is not deleted by us.

6. Security

We use HTTPS, encrypt GitHub tokens, keep sessions in secure http-only cookies, verify payments by cryptographic signature and limit request rates. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects you we will notify you and the authorities as required by law.

7. Your rights

You can:

  • access a summary of your personal data and how it is processed;
  • correct or update it (your name can be changed in Account settings);
  • delete it (Account settings → Delete account) and withdraw consent;
  • raise a grievance, and nominate another person to exercise your rights in case of death or incapacity.

Email director@4amtech.com to exercise these rights. We respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.

8. Children

The Service is not meant for children under 18 without verifiable consent of a parent or guardian.

We may update this policy. We will post the new version here and update the date above; significant changes will be notified by email. See also our Terms of Service.
